ANGELA MORLEY 1924-2009

Angela Morley, who as Wally Stott composed and arranged all the incidental music for the Goon Show and led the show's studio orchestra, died on 14 January aged 84. She suffered a fall at her home in Scottsdale, Arizona, on Boxing Day, which caused complications including pneumonia. During her long career Angela composed many charming pieces of light music, and her work in films and television was also highly praised.
